Winter Park has shown leadership on items such as grid resilience and underground electrical transition and this transition to electric fleets is a natural next step. The City of Winter Park runs and manages their own utilities for the benefit of residents and visitors to the city. When a city or county has their own electrical utility service, the fiscal and operational benefits of transitioning to electric transport cannot be overstated.
