Project Spotlight: Hawthorne at Leesburg
The Optimus Energy Solutions team recently completed a unique solar installation for the Hawthorne at Leesburg community. Using 6 canopies at their shuffleboard facility, we installed a 137KW ballasted solar energy system with no roof penetrations. We used SolarEdge electronics, REC panels and Aerocompact East-West racking. The angled panel placement echos the architectural lines of this classically retro Central Florida 55+ community. This system is a great example of how to turn previously unused space into an energy-producing, cost-saving asset.
