Project Profile: Rolling Acres Apartments
As technology and innovation continue to improve the efficiency of solar energy systems, more and more early embracers of solar power are looking to replace their original systems. ConcordRENTS, a developer and owner of multifamily communities throughout Florida, is one such company. Optimus Energy Solutions worked with them to remove and recycle an outdated solar PV system at their Rolling Acres Apartment community in Lady Lake. The project utilized the existing infrastructure and parking canopies to house the new system; which was upgraded with the highest quality REC solar panels on the market. Rolling Acres now has a new 82.4KW system with 206 solar modules from REC400. The anticipated year-one output of 112,000 kWh will result in energy savings of more than $11,000 at this property.
