Optimus Energy Solutions Expands with Second Mount Dora Location

The Optimus Energy Solutions (OES) team is excited to announce that we have purchased a historic property in downtown Mount Dora. The building, located on 5th Ave. near Grandview, was originally built in 1916 and has served as a commercial headquarters for several businesses in recent years. We are embarking on a large renovation project, investing in a full revitalization of the property to create high-quality office space and a downtown EV charging depot with five (5) public Level 2 charging stations in the large parking lot.* The EV charging stations are slated to open on December 1, 2023, with the office renovations estimated to finish in late 2024.

Thanks to our clients’ trust, we have been able to expand our services to include solar system maintenance and EV charging ownership while retaining our core functions of solar and EV charging installation and education. With this growth has come the need for more space. We are passionate about conservation, preservation, and re-using assets. This location serves both OES and the City of Mount Dora, reviving a long-vacant historical property, providing much-needed downtown EV charging, and giving the OES team and our tenant businesses walkable access to Mount Dora’s fantastic restaurants, parks and events.
