OES Breaks Ground on New Orlando Floating Solar Array
Working with D3 Energy, Optimus Energy Solutions (OES) began construction on a 2MW floating solar array for Orlando Utilities Commission in Orlando, FL.
This array, located on an existing approximately 6-acre retention site near Conway Rd and Hoffner Ave. will generate significant power for the OUC grid. Comprised of 3,059 solar modules, this investment turns a previously unused retention pond into a power-producing local resource contributing to OUC’s solar commitments.
OES is responsible for the construction of the water-based array, land-based electrical work and commissioning of the system. We are grateful to our partners for their trust, and look forward to delivering an excellent quality project.
